Resume.ie started in 2024 when our founders noticed something obvious: every major CV builder on the market was built for the US. Letter-sized pages, American English, dollar-denominated salary data, and templates designed for American hiring conventions.
Irish professionals were forced to adapt these tools — manually converting to A4, switching to UK English spelling, and having no access to local salary benchmarks. Meanwhile, the Irish job market has its own unique dynamics: a small, interconnected professional community, a booming tech sector, multinational headquarters, and specific cultural expectations around CVs.
So we built Resume.ie — Ireland's purpose-built career platform. Every template is A4 and print-ready. Our salary data covers 50+ roles across Irish cities. Our interview prep includes questions specific to Irish employers. We even built the world's first Irish-language (as Gaeilge) CV template.
